Nick Dushenski


Nick William Dushenski was a provincial politician from Alberta, Canada. He served as a member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta from 1952 to 1959 sitting as an MLA with the opposition Cooperative Commonwealth Federation caucus.

Dushenski was born in Whitford, Alberta, the youngest of nine children. At the age of 21, he began his teaching career in a oneroom schoolhouse in Beaverdam, Alberta and would teach thoroughout northern British Columbia and Alberta until settling in Willingdon, Alberta in 1946 where he would teach until 1979, as well as run a farm with his wife and theirchildren.
